An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Videographer and Editor to join Lloyd Motor Group's Marketing Team based in Head office in Carlisle, with regular travel across our all-Group retailers. Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 depending on experience. Includes company car.

Lloyd Motor Group is looking for a talented Videographer & Editor to join our Marketing team and help shape the next chapter of our video content.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and creative video professional to work across one of the UK's leading independent automotive groups, producing engaging content for an exceptional range of premium and aspirational vehicles and brands.

From filming the latest new models and outstanding used cars to creating YouTube features, social content, and major Group campaigns, you'll have access to an extraordinary variety of subjects, and the creative freedom to bring them to life.

Working across our network of 44 branches, you'll be one of two Videographers & Editors responsible for professional video production across Lloyd Motor Group.

About the Role

• Video will play an increasingly important role in how Lloyd Motor Group showcases its vehicles, engages customers and tells its story.
• A major part of the role will be creating professional, presenter-led videos featuring our new and used vehicle stock.
• You'll work behind the camera, planning shoots, directing and coaching presenters, capturing high-quality footage and transforming it into engaging, finished content.
• You'll independently manage projects from initial brief and storyboard through filming, editing, colour correction, audio finishing and final delivery, while working closely with colleagues across Marketing, E-commerce and our retailer network.

Role responsibilities

• Plan, film and edit high-quality automotive video content across Lloyd Motor Group.
• Produce professional new and used vehicle walkarounds with salesperson presenters.
• Coach, direct and recommend best practise to our network of branch Video Champions achieving engaging, natural, confident performances on camera.
• Create 2–4 substantive YouTube videos each month, alongside high-volume vehicle and short-form social content.
• Produce engaging vertical content for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Film premium and performance vehicles, new-model launches, retailer features, events, recruitment content and Group campaigns.
• Develop compelling stories around our vehicles, people, expertise and customer experience.
• Understand video pacing, hooks, visual storytelling, sound design and how to hold attention.
• Capture professional audio and lighting on location and maintain consistently high production standards.
• Edit footage, including colour correction, audio finishing, captions and straightforward motion graphics.
• Create platform-appropriate versions, thumbnails and supporting assets.
• Help develop and maintain a consistent Lloyd Motor Group video style across our brands and locations.
• Manage projects independently, balance competing priorities and delivering consistently high-quality work to deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing colleagues to review performance and continually improve our video output.
• Regular travel throughout the Lloyd Motor Group network will be an important part of the role.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands how great video can make a customer stop scrolling, become interested in a vehicle, and ultimately take the next step towards buying it.
