Find better jobs.
Build better careers.
Find your next role with the UK's leading
dealerships and automotive employers.
New vacancies added every week.
Whip was created to solve a simple problem.
Whip was founded by someone with first-hand experience of the automotive industry who saw how
fragmented automotive recruitment had become.
The aim is simple: make it easier for talented people to discover great opportunities and help employers connect with the right candidates
Finding automotive jobs shouldn't mean searching dozens of dealership websites, manufacturer career pages and recruitment agencies.
The UK automotive industry is built on skilled people—from technicians and service advisors to sales executives, accountants, valeters and dealership leaders
but finding the right opportunity can often be frustrating and time-consuming.
We created Whip to bring those opportunities together in one place.
Whip is just getting started.
Our vision is to become more than a job board by creating a platform that supports careers across the automotive industry through better job discovery, employer profiles, career advice and industry insights.

Unlike general job boards, Whip is focused entirely on the automotive industry.
Every vacancy is selected to help people working in the motor trade discover opportunities that match their experience, whether they're taking their first step into the industry or progressing their career.
Our goal is to make automotive recruitment simpler for both candidates and employers.
To become the UK's most trusted destination for automotive careers.
We believe recruitment should be straightforward, transparent and focused on connecting the right people with the right opportunities.
By working with dealerships, dealer groups, manufacturers and automotive businesses, we're building a platform that helps the industry grow.

Hi, I’m Gemma, founder of Whip.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in the automotive industry, starting out at 16 as a Parts Apprentice in an Audi dealership.
I completed my apprenticeship with Volkswagen Group and went on to spend almost 10 years with the business, progressing through roles including Parts Advisor, Parts Supervisor, Service & Parts Co-ordinator and Assistant Aftersales Manager. Starting my career with a premium brand gave me a brilliant grounding in how a successful dealership works — and, importantly, what great customer service looks like.
Parts will always have my heart, though. No matter where my career has taken me, I always seem to get drawn back to it!
Ready for a new challenge, I moved to a local dealer group where I became a Parts Manager, working with a completely new range of Japanese brands. It was a big step in my career and gave me the opportunity to manage my own departments, take on wider responsibilities and learn a very different side of the motor trade.
After 17 years in dealership operations, I decided it was time for another change.I moved into Internal Business Support and spent time working closely with the HR team. That gave me a completely different perspective on the industry — particularly recruitment. I saw first-hand how difficult it had become to attract the right people, how fragmented the process was and how much time could be spent simply trying to reach the right candidates.
I later moved into Customer Quality, where my role has covered everything from aftersales and customer experience to business operations and organisation.
And somewhere along the way, the idea for Whip began.
Automotive vacancies are scattered across hundreds of dealership websites, manufacturer career pages and recruitment platforms. For candidates, finding the right opportunity can mean searching site after site. For employers, reaching people who genuinely want to work in automotive presents its own challenges.
I created Whip to bring those opportunities together in one place.
My aim is simple: to build the automotive careers platform I would have wanted to use throughout my own career — straightforward, industry-focused and genuinely useful for both candidates and employers.
Right now, I’m also on maternity leave looking after my seven-month-old daughter, Millie, while bringing Whip to life — so life is certainly keeping me busy!
And the photo? That was taken at Gallaghers Steakhouse in New York City, where I was very happily sharing that enormous tiramisu. One of the best steakhouses I’ve ever visited and somewhere I’d recommend to anyone heading to New York.
After more than 20 years in the motor trade, it still eels pretty exciting to be starting something completely new — although apparently I’m still incapable of staying away from automotive.
