Vertu Volkswagen Leeds are recruiting! We have some great opportunities for Vehicle Technicians to join our team within a well-established and high-performing site.

Join us and receive a £4,000 sign-on bonus, with £2,000 paid in your first month and a further £2,000 after 13 months of service as a reward for your commitment.

The Location:

Our Leeds dealership is ideally located within a major city with excellent transport links, including easy access to the M62 and surrounding areas. This creates a strong and steady customer base, ensuring a busy workshop environment and ongoing workflow across service, maintenance and diagnostic repairs.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,600 and £46,790 depending upon skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week with no weekend working!

As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the high standards set out in our Health and Safety policy, carrying out inspections, repairs and services, and correctly handling and storing parts.

In addition, you will be required to deliver an outstanding customer experience. As we have numerous opportunities, we would love to talk to you whether your experience comes from an independent dealer or a volume franchise environment.

The packages we are offering are dependant upon experience and accreditation however you can expect basic salaries as below:

• Prep Technicians up to £35,720
• Service and Maintenance Technicians up to £36,950
• Service and Diagnostic Technicians up to £39,410
• Senior Technicians up to £41,870
• Master Technicians up to £46,790

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
