What you’ll earn:
Basic salaries:
- Service and Maintenance Technicians up to £30,576
- Service and Diagnostic Technicians up to £35,280
- Senior Technicians up to £37,485
- Master Technicians up to £43,000
Additional pay you’ll receive:
- £4,000 to £8,000per year!
- The generous bonus scheme is based on productivity levels, so your additional earnings, above basic salary, would be expected to be between £4,000 – £8,000
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Usually between the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
- Saturday mornings available if wanted – paid as overtime
- Flexibility with alternative start and finish times are available if preferred
What you’ll be doing:
Depending on your level and experience, key tasks are:
- Carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and address issues
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical and EV systems
- Road test vehicles before and after repair work
- Communicate with customers to explain repair findings and recommendations
- Complete documentation accurately and efficiently
What qualifications and experience you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- Experienced Technicians with a Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification will be considered
- Workshop experience working for a franchised car dealership or independent garage
- Motivation to develop your skills
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
