Following the tremendous success of our Cannock-based OMODA and JAECOO dealership, to manage the ever-growing demand for these two incredibly popular brands, we are opening a brand-new showroom and workshop facility based on Stafford Street in Wolverhampton.

Due to this exciting new dealership launch, we are now looking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Vehicle Technician to join our growing aftersales team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the world’s fastest growing automotive brands and help us continue introducing the public to OMODA and JAECOO’s innovative and high-specification vehicles.

We are recruiting for multiple positions.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of the OMODA & JAECOO brands within the Wolverhampton market. You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, repairs and diagnostic work to the highest possible standards, ensuring every customer vehicle is maintained safely, efficiently and professionally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and technically skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate must be capable of working efficiently within a busy and growing workshop, where maintaining exceptional standards, accuracy and productivity are essential. You will work closely with the wider aftersales team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded at every stage of the service and repair process.

You will be expected to demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining high workshop standards. Daily responsibilities will include servicing, repairs, diagnostics, vehicle inspections and ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.

A key part of the role will involve ensuring vehicles are diagnosed accurately and repaired efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of delivering a seamless aftersales experience that reflects the innovation, quality and modern nature of both the OMODA & JAECOO brands.

Responsibilities

Carrying out detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)

Performing mechanical and electrical repairs on customer vehicles

Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment

Carrying out servicing and maintenance work in line with manufacturer standards

Road testing vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy

Completing manufacturer inspection check sheets accurately

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

Supporting the wider aftersales team in delivering excellent customer satisfaction

We are looking for an individual who can embrace the excitement of joining this brand-new dealership and workshop facility while supporting the fast-paced growth of these ever-expanding manufacturers.

This role requires someone who can combine technical expertise with efficiency, professionalism and adaptability. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team and wants to continue developing their skills within a modern dealership environment.

About You

Must hold a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle repair

Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment

Strong ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively

Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems

Full UK driving licence required

Motivated, reliable and team-focused attitude
