Pay: £32,500 per year + uncapped bonus
The Role
Brindley Hyundai & Genesis have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team at our new Cannock showroom as a Vehicle Technician.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of the Hyundai and Genesis brands within the local market. You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, repairs and diagnostic work to the highest possible standards, ensuring every customer vehicle is maintained safely, efficiently and professionally.

The successful candidate must be capable of working efficiently within a busy and growing workshop, where maintaining outstanding standards, accuracy and productivity are essential. You will work closely with the wider aftersales team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded at every stage of the service and repair process.
You will be expected to demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining high workshop standards. The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to work with clutches, gearboxes, engines, and electrical wiring diagrams. Daily responsibilities will include servicing, repairs, diagnostics, vehicle inspections and ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.
A key part of the role will involve ensuring vehicles are diagnosed accurately and repaired efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of delivering a seamless aftersales experience that reflects the advanced technology, innovation, quality and customer-focused approach that define both the Hyundai and Genesis brands.
Working with a diverse range of vehicles, from Hyundai's multi award-winning range to Genesis' premium luxury models, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while supporting two of the automotive industry's most progressive and forward-thinking manufacturers.
Responsibilities
Carrying out servicing and MOT tests
Carrying out detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)
Performing mechanical and electrical repairs on customer vehicles
Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
Carrying out servicing and maintenance work in line with manufacturer standards
Road testing vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy
Completing manufacturer inspection check sheets accurately
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Supporting the wider aftersales team in delivering excellent customer satisfaction

About You
Must hold a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle repair
Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
Ability to work with clutches, gearboxes, engines, and electrical wiring diagrams.
Strong ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
Full UK driving licence required
