LSH Auto is looking for a Vehicle Systems Technician to join our the team at our flagship dealership in Stockport.
This is more than a traditional technician role. We're looking for people who are passionate about vehicles, take pride in doing things properly and want the opportunity to continue developing their skills as automotive technology evolves.
Whether you already have manufacturer experience or you're looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your technical career, we'll provide the support, training and development to help you progress.
A major part of that development will be access to Mercedes-Benz and BYD manufacturer-specific training and accreditation, giving you the opportunity to develop your expertise across the latest petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicle technologies.
Working Hours: 40
Salary: Up to £56,400 plus overtime
Welcome Bonus: £2,000 plus 3 months guaranteed bonus
Requirements
You will be:
Undertaking maintenance, service and repair activities on Mercedes Benz motor vehicles to the highest standard.
Repairing, testing vehicles and diagnosing their faults.
Replacing components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage.
Producing CITNOW Videos to keep the customers informed of their vehicle's condition.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety.
Carrying out work completely and effectively within Mercedes Benz servicing and repair times.
Advising and reporting on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair requirements.
You will have:
NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in light vehicle maintenance
Commitment to future progression for qualifications in EV products
Excellent customer service skills
Responsibility for the quality and quantity of your work
A full UK driving licence
