This is a true end-to-end recruitment role where you'll partner closely with hiring managers, divisional leadership teams, and HR colleagues to attract, engage, and hire the very best talent. You'll have the freedom to influence recruitment strategy, challenge thinking, and use market insight to drive better hiring outcomes.

This is a team that celebrates ideas, collaboration, and adaptability, all with the shared goal of creating a high-quality recruitment experience that reflects and represents Marshall Motor Group.

In This Role

We're Looking For

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy qualification and advertising through to sourcing, interviews, feedback, and offer management.
  • Partner with hiring managers to fully understand hiring requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and create compelling adverts that attract the right talent.
  • Proactively source and engage both active and passive candidates through a range of channels, building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Confidently manage counter-offers and pre-close conversations, maintaining strong candidate engagement throughout the process to minimise withdrawals.
  • Enable hiring managers to focus on daily operations by taking full accountability for recruitment activity, reducing administration and improving hiring efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with Franchise Directors, Divisional Teams, and HR Business Partners, sharing hiring insights, market intelligence, recruitment challenges, and progress updates.
  • Provide guidance on interview best practice, candidate assessment, recruitment strategy, and workforce planning.
  • Produce data-led recruitment updates and recommendations, using insight and market knowledge to support hiring decisions.
  • Manage agency relationships and recruitment spend effectively, making informed decisions on when external support is required and driving direct sourcing wherever possible.
  • Manage high-volume recruitment across multiple brands and functions, balancing priorities and acting as a trusted recruitment expert within your divisions.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, helping shape recruitment marketing content that showcases Marshall as an employer of choice.
  • An experienced recruiter, either internal or agency, with a strong understanding of stakeholder management, attraction strategies, and candidate engagement.
  • Someone who can influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and Directors.
  • Strong experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, capable of presenting recruitment insights clearly and professionally.
  • Someone who takes ownership, uses initiative, and is comfortable working autonomously while knowing when to seek support or challenge constructively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solution-focused mindset, adaptable, positive, and resilient when navigating recruitment challenges.
  • The ability to use recruitment data and market insight to make informed recommendations and improve hiring outcomes.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to make a genuine impact on how we attract and hire exceptional people, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Financial security: Life insurance, contributory pension.
  • Exclusive perks: Discounts and rewards via a dedicated employee platform.
  • Referral bonuses: Up to £2,000 for successful referrals.
