We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join our established team at Snows Toyota and Lexus, covering both Bournemouth and Poole.

Your Day

As a Service Technician, you will carry out a range of workshop tasks efficiently and safely, ensuring customer requirements are met while maximising productivity and utilisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Flexibility to work across both Toyota and Lexus brands.
• Working in line with brand and dealership processes, ensuring accurate clocking and correct allocation of all parts before job completion.
• Liaising directly with customers where appropriate, including producing clear and informative videos to explain identified work and recommendations.
• Supporting the Front of House team by ensuring all job write-ups are clear, accurate, and complete.
• Attending ongoing training to maintain and develop technical knowledge and skills.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• No Saturday working.

Have You Got What It Takes?

• Relevant City and Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ accreditation.
• Previous experience within a franchised dealership.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Hours of Work

We offer a structured and forward-thinking working pattern designed to support work life balance, fairness, and strong team collaboration.

• 4 day working week, averaging 42.5 hours per week.
• Working hours are 07:00 to 18:00.
• Includes a 20-minute lunch break and two 10-minute tea breaks per day.

Our workshop operates across two teams:

• One team works Monday to Thursday.
• The other team works Tuesday to Friday.
• Teams rotate weekly to ensure fairness and equal distribution of working patterns.

Both teams are on site together Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, providing:

• Stronger team collaboration and support.
• Increased workshop efficiency during peak days.
• Consistent customer service levels.

This structure delivers a consistent 3 day weekend every week while maintaining strong earning potential and productivity.
