Mechanic

At Marshall Honda York, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified PDI or Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. Whether you’re already an expert or developing your craft, we’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities,you will be joining a service team with over 60+ years combined Honda experience as well as a team that consistently achieves a top 25 Honda dealer ranking based on customer satisfaction.

In this role

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for

• Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• If Level 2 qualified we can offer a fantastic opportunity to achieve your Level 3 qualification through our Level Up Programme where you can qualify within 14 weeks
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
