Service Quality Specialist

Porsche Centre Swindon is seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Quality Specialist to join our Aftersales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to take ownership of workshop quality standards and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Offering an earning potential of £30,000 - £45,000 OTE, this position is ideally suited to an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to progress their career in a new direction while utilising their technical expertise and industry knowledge.

We would also welcome applications from established Service Advisors, Workshop Team Leaders, or individuals with significant Warranty administration experience who possess the confidence and credibility to work closely with technicians and support improvements in workshop efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections on completed vehicles to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
• Support the delivery of a "right first time" approach to vehicle repairs and servicing.
• Oversee warranty submissions and ensure compliance with Porsche warranty requirements and regulations.
• Work closely with workshop and aftersales teams to identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with customers where required, providing professional support and technical explanations.
• Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with Porsche standards and operational guidelines.

An integral part of this role involves managing warranty processes and ensuring all claims meet Porsche requirements. As such, a strong understanding of motor industry practices, workshop procedures, and quality standards is essential.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent automotive industry experience.
• Previous experience in vehicle quality control, workshop supervision, or a similar quality-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of warranty procedures and workshop management systems.
• Experience within a manufacturer-franchised dealership environment would be advantageous.
• A full UK Driving Licence.
