At Hendy Group, we’re proud of our long-standing reputation for excellence, integrity and exceptional customer care . We’re now looking for a motivated Retail Sales Advisor to join our successful Renault Dacia showroom in Horley .

Our Sales Advisor Opportunity: In this Retail Sales Advisor role you will:

• Build rapport with customers, understand their needs and recommending the most suitable vehicles and additional products
• Guide customers confidently through every stage of their purchasing journey – from initial enquiry and test drive through to vehicle handover
• Discuss finance options including cash or car loans, negotiate the sale price of the vehicles including possible trade-in values
• Maximise sales opportunities – working towards vehicle sales and profit targets whilst maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction
• Proactively prospect new and existing customers to maintain your database and encourage repeat business
• Support the Sales Administrators with accurately processing all documentation relating to vehicle sales including vehicle orders and finance agreements

About You

• Have a real drive and desire to achieve results and deliver exceptional service
• Able to build outstanding customer relationships, exceeding their expectations in every element of their buying experience
• You’re confident, professional and personable
• You have excellent communication and organisational skills
• You’re comfortable discussing finance and associated products
• Confident Excel user
• A full UK manual driving licence
• Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and DBS checks.

Automotive industry or vehicle sales experience would be preferable; however, we will consider applicants with a proven sales track record outside of the industry.

Hendy Induction - please be advised that any new starters joining the business will, in their first week be expected to attend a structured induction programme that will involve 2 days at our training academy in Portsmouth. More details will be shared at interview.
