We are looking for an organised, customer-focused Bodyshop Repair Receptionist to join our busy and successful Accident Repair Centre. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the vehicle repair journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing outstanding support to both customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers to the repair centre and provide a professional first impression.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries efficiently.
  • Book vehicles in for repair work and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
  • Liaise with technicians, estimators, insurers, and external suppliers.
  • Process repair documentation and ensure all administration is completed accurately.
  • Support the Bodyshop team with general administrative duties.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and work towards positive resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Experience within the automotive, dealership, or bodyshop sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and internal management systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
  • A positive, professional, and customer-first approach.

Hendy Induction - please be advised that any new starters joining the business in their first week will be expected to attend a structured induction programme that will involve 2 days at our training academy in Portsmouth. More details will be shared at interview.
