About the Role

PDI Technician

Marshall Honda Hull £33,038 basic | £36,000 OTE based on time saved and team profit; 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays (increases with service); Life assurance & pension scheme; Discounts on car servicing, purchase & more; Access to exclusive shopping and lifestyle perks. Full-time | 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis

We're investing heavily in our future, with newly installed ramps, an expanding 9-bay workshop , and a brand-new MOT testing ramp.

As the site evolves into a multi-franchise preparation centre , you'll gain exposure to a wider range of vehicles, benefit from ongoing manufacturer training as well as career development opportunities.

In this role

  • You’ll carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on both fleet and customer vehicles
  • You’ll handle vehicle maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
  • You’ll ensure every vehicle that you work on is fully compliant and safe, ready for customer delivery

We're looking for

  • Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If you’re Level 2, we can look at opportunities for you to become Level 3 accredited
  • Someone with previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work, from any background.
  • Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
  • Someone tech-savvy and confident using iPads and digital workshop systems. Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
