About the Role

PDI Technician

At Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Cambridge we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified PDI Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. Whether you’re already an expert or developing your craft, we’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities, a friendly team and manufacturer training that keeps you on top of your game.

In this role

  • You’ll carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on both fleet and customer vehicles
  • You’ll handle vehicle maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
  • You’ll ensure every vehicle that you work on is fully compliant and safe, ready for customer delivery

We're looking for

  • Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If you’re Level 2, we can look at opportunities for you to become Level 3 accredited
  • Someone with previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work, from any background.
  • Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
  • Someone tech-savvy and confident using iPads and digital workshop systems. Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
