Sales Executive – Volkswagen Manchester North TPS

Salary £24,000 (uncapped earnings)

What you’ll do day to day

  • Achieve personal KPI and revenue targets by identifying customer needs, accurately sourcing parts, maximising promotional opportunities, and proactively identifying upsell opportunities to grow sales.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong customer relationships, understanding requirements, providing expert advice, resolving queries and complaints professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction remains a key focus.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge through ongoing training and regular review of bulletins, catalogues, parts updates, promotions, recalls, and other relevant communications, while confidently communicating the features, benefits, and unique selling propositions of TPS products.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Sales Manager and wider TPS Centre team to achieve business objectives, share customer feedback, communicate delivery and credit requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Accurately record and report lost sales opportunities, maintain customer records in compliance with data protection regulations, and ensure customers are kept informed regarding orders, deliveries, and credit status.
  • Process customer enquiries, orders, payments, and documentation accurately and efficiently using approved systems and processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures, financial controls, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Support operational excellence by maintaining a clean and organised work environment, sourcing parts from alternative centres or suppliers when required, and ensuring all activities are conducted with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach.

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, demonstrating the ability to achieve targets and build relationships
  • Ability to deliver first-class customer service with energy and enthusiasm
  • A genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills, focused on understanding customer needs
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
