Parts Assistant

Arbury Peugeot & Leap Motors are seeking a Parts Assistant to join their Aftersales Team at their main car dealership in Lichfield.

Salary

• Basic salary £26,000 – £28,000
• Plus bonus £2,000-£3,000 per year

Working Hours

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: either 8.00am – 5.00pm OR 8.30am – 5.30pm
• No Weekends

The Role:

As a Parts Assistant / Advisor, you will work with customers needing to repair their vehicles, giving advice and providing excellent customer service to get them the necessary parts.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Listening to customers in order to determine issues, delivering effective solutions and recommending parts
• Developing customer relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression
• Processing orders quickly and providing a swift service to departments and customers
• Completing all relevant administration promptly and accurately
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring stock is regularly replenished
• Taking opportunities to maximise sales

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally having previous parts experience in either a Main Dealership or Independent Parts Department or Parts Distributor.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical repair and automotive parts
• Experienced in dealing directly with customers, with excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail, and organisation skills
• Strong work ethic, and desire to deliver an outstanding brand aligned customer experience
• Practical knowledge of computer systems
