About the Role
As a Parts Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our technicians have the correct parts at the right time, helping to keep repairs on schedule and customers satisfied. You'll work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and the workshop team to manage stock, source parts efficiently, and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
Identify and source vehicle parts using manufacturer and supplier systems
Order, receive, inspect, and accurately book in parts deliveries
Maintain stock levels and ensure inventory records remain up to date
Supply technicians with the correct parts to support efficient vehicle repairs
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues
Resolve parts queries quickly and effectively
Ensure all parts processes are completed accurately and in line with company procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Automotive Parts Advisor, or similar role
Experience within an accident repair centre, bodyshop, dealership, or automotive environment
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good computer literacy and confidence using parts catalogues and ordering systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment
