Are you organised, customer-focused, and passionate about the automotive industry? We are looking for a Parts Advisor to join our busy team at Sandicliffe Nottingham FordStore. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with one of the UK's most established automotive retailers, supporting both our workshop and retail customers with genuine manufacturer parts and accessories.

About the Role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our technicians, service teams, and customers have access to the right parts at the right time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll provide expert advice, manage stock efficiently, and deliver outstanding customer service at every interaction.

Responsibilities

Identifying and supplying vehicle parts and accessories accurately and efficiently.

Providing excellent service to retail, trade, and internal workshop customers.

Processing parts orders via telephone, email, and in person.

Managing stock levels, stock control, and inventory processes.

Receiving, checking, and correctly storing parts deliveries.

Assisting with parts promotions and upselling relevant products and accessories.

Maintaining accurate records using manufacturer and dealership systems.

Supporting the Service and Workshop teams to minimise vehicle downtime.

Ensuring the parts department remains organised, compliant, and customer-focused.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or automotive parts role.

Knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive aftersales operations.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

The ability to work effectively in a busy, team-focused environment.

Good IT skills and experience using stock management systems.

A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
