Vertu Nissan Halifax

Are you looking for a new challenge within the motor industry? At Vertu Nissan Halifax, we’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our supportive and professional Parts team.

Basic salary: £13.60 per hour + excellent company benefits
42 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm and NO WEEKEND WORK

As a Parts Advisor in our dynamic team, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting trade customers by providing exceptional service and accurate parts advice. Whilst previous Parts Advisor experience would be beneficial, we are equally interested in hearing from candidates with automotive technical knowledge or experience using Kerridge/Keyloop systems who are keen to develop a career in parts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Handling inbound parts enquiries and orders via phone and online platforms
  • Accurately identifying and sourcing parts to meet customer needs
  • Using available promotions and offers to meet team and individual targets
  • Looking for opportunities to upsell or add value in a helpful, customer-focused way
  • Keeping your product knowledge up to date through regular training and company resources
  • Building strong, positive relationships with customers and internal teams

Representing Nissan – A Global Leader in Innovation

As part of our team, you’ll be representing Nissan, a brand renowned for:

  • Cutting‑edge technology – from ProPILOT driver assistance to advanced EV systems
  • Market‑leading electric vehicles, including the pioneering Nissan LEAF and the award‑winning ARIYA
  • Exceptional reliability and build quality, trusted by millions of drivers worldwide
  • A diverse, exciting model range, from city cars to SUVs and commercial vehicles

Nissan’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction makes it an inspiring brand to sell — and one that customers genuinely love.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous Parts Advisor experience within the motor industry would be highly advantageous. However, we would also welcome applications from candidates with strong automotive technical knowledge, such as Vehicle Technicians, or those with experience using Kerridge/Keyloop systems
  • Confident working with computers, systems, and online platforms
  • Committed to delivering excellent service and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Organised, have a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Comfortable working to targets and sales objectives
  • Willingness to engage in regular training and professional development

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • 25 days holiday (rising with service) + bank holidays
  • Access to an online rewards platform – cashback and discounts at top retailers
  • Preferential service rates
  • Colleague car purchase scheme
  • Share incentive plan and pension
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption benefits
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities

As part of our recruitment process, we will carry out employment checks, including references, address and credit history, and may also complete a criminal record and driving licence check.
