Vertu Vauxhall Northampton

Vertu Vauxhall Northampton have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our brilliant team!

We are offering a basic salary of £30,537.57 plus company benefits! Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with no weekend working.

This is a workshop-focused Parts Advisor role, where you will work closely with our Technicians and Service team to ensure the correct parts are available when needed, helping to keep jobs progressing efficiently and minimising downtime within the workshop.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include accurately identifying and supplying parts, processing workshop requests, maintaining stock availability, and ensuring parts are ordered efficiently. You'll play a key role in supporting the aftersales operation, working proactively to ensure the workshop has everything required to deliver an excellent service to our customers.

You'll also make sure you stay up to date with new and updated parts information through relevant training, manufacturer bulletins, catalogues, product updates, special offers and recalls.

Ideally, you'll have previous Parts experience within the automotive industry, whether that's from a main dealership, motor factor or other automotive parts environment. We would also welcome applications from experienced Vehicle Technicians who have a strong understanding of automotive parts and are looking to move into a Parts Advisor role. You'll be confident identifying and supplying the correct parts, using parts catalogues and systems, and working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be organised, accurate and able to build strong working relationships with colleagues across the workshop and service departments.

We are proud to be the Motor Retailer who invests more in our colleague's personal development than any other, so if you are successful, you can look forward to on-going training opportunities that provide you with the right career path, career progression and a range of benefits you would expect from an employer of choice which includes:

  • 25 days holiday rising with length of service - plus bank holidays
  • Access to our online rewards platform giving you cash back and discounts for multiple retailers
  • Preferential Service Rates
  • Colleague Purchase Scheme
  • Share Incentive Scheme
  • Pension
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity
