Apprentice Parts Advisor

Location: Leek Road, Hanley

No prior parts experience is required—we will provide full training, mentorship, and a structured apprenticeship program to help you gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning from day one.

Your Role

As an Apprentice Parts Advisor, you will work alongside our experienced team to learn every aspect of the parts environment, including:

  • Customer Service: Learning to build strong relationships with trade and retail customers, offering friendly, professional support via phone, counter, and email.
  • Parts Identification & Ordering: Training on electronic catalogs and systems to accurately identify, locate, and order automotive parts and accessories.
  • Workplace Collaboration: Supporting our internal technicians and the wider aftersales team to ensure parts are delivered efficiently for vehicle repairs.
  • Stock & Inventory Control: Assisting with receiving deliveries, stock checking, organizing inventory, and processing returns.
  • Sales Support: Developing product knowledge to help maximize parts sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire to build a career with Holdcroft.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-first attitude.
  • Is highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Is self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable using computers and new software.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Has a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
