Parts Advisor

BMW Swindon are looking for a motivated Parts Advisor to join the team! If you have experience of working in the automotive industry as a Parts Advisor, we would like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be a great team player, have a passion for cars and be a great communicator with both customers and colleagues. We are looking for a highly organised individual who appreciates that detail is everything and embraces the values of Dick Lovett Group.

Responsibilities

What does this role involve?

• Communicating with customers promptly and courteously, while fulfilling their orders.
• Ensuring all parts are correctly checked against delivery notes, that they are binned accordingly and that all orders are checked before delivery note is signed.
• Handling phone enquiries efficiently and professionally.
• Ensuring that the Service Department requirements are dealt with accurately and information is passed on as comprehensively as possible.
• Assisting in stock checks and van deliveries where required.
• Packing and loading Parts correctly.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• We are looking for an ambitious candidate who has the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
• A key component for us is someone with a passion for customer service, can do attitude, flexibility and an enthusiasm for cars.
• Previous dealership experience would be beneficial. Use of Kerridge or DRIVE would be advantageous, along with BMW knowledge which is preferred but not essential.
