At Steer Automotive Group, we’re looking for an experienced Panel Technician to join our team at Steer Scunthorpe.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles

Repairing, replacing and aligning vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications

Using the latest repair methods, tools and equipment to deliver high-quality workmanship

Ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards

Working to agreed productivity targets while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Working closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles move smoothly through the repair process

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Panel Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair environment

Strong panel repair, replacement and alignment skills

Experience with MIG/MAG welding and modern repair techniques

ATA accreditation or an equivalent qualification is desirable

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality repairs

A positive, reliable approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
