Are you an experienced Panel Beater looking to join a dynamic and experienced automotive repair team?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team of talented technicians at our brand new Komoo (Powered By Steer) Tottenham site as a Panel Technician, specialising in fleet and rental hire vehicle repairs.
About the Role
As a Panel Technician with Komoo, you will play a crucial role in restoring fleet and rental hire vehicles to pristine condition. You will be responsible for repairing and replacing body components according to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's standards. Working within a dynamic team environment, you will utilise specialist body repair equipment to assess the best methods for repairs, contributing to achieving site targets and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Responsibilities
Restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing and replacing body components.
Assess the most effective methods for conducting repairs and utilise specialist body repair equipment to achieve the best results, working efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Adhere to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's repair standards.
Work collaboratively within a team to achieve site targets.
Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all repairs.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area, following health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience as a Panel Technician, ideally with a background and knowledge of fleet and rental hire vehicle repair.
You will have:
Strong technical skills and knowledge in panel beating techniques and equipment, including welding, filling and alignment.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and repair damage efficiently.
Ideally, you will be ATA/NVQ qualified, and we're committed to supporting you in renewing these to further enhance your skills and expertise.
