What to Expect

Tesla is looking for a Senior Operations Specialist to join Central Operations at our Manchester office. You will own high-volume, time-critical work that sits behind every UK delivery: statutory fines and penalties, vehicle registrations, and fleet and sales operations support.

This role is based at Manchester Central. Tesla’s UK registered office is here, so official company post and on-site operational tasks are part of the job and cannot be done remotely.

You will take on the more complex cases, work across Legal, Sales, Delivery and Fleet, and flex onto other central operations work as the business needs. The right person is precise under deadline pressure, comfortable with regulated process, and happy switching between specialist casework and keeping the office running.

What You’ll Do

• Process traffic, congestion and other statutory fines and penalties issued to Tesla, meeting legal deadlines
• Verify documentation for used and demonstrator vehicles
• Handle day-to-day UK and Ireland fleet requests and ad-hoc operational queries
• Support Sales and Delivery Operations on bulk communications, data requests, insurance queries and training
• Take part in office management projects
• Raise and maintain purchase orders
• Supporting with incoming and outgoing company post, office supplies, and day-to-day Manchester office needs
• Follow UK regulations relevant to Tesla’s vehicle operations, including emissions and vehicle safety requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Experience supporting or running day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Able to juggle multiple priorities, organise a heavy workload, and hit hard deadlines
• Strong attention to detail — late or inaccurate work in this role has legal and financial consequences
• Comfortable learning new systems quickly and adapting when processes change
• Clear written and verbal communication, including with teams you do not sit with every day
• Experience in office and administrative operations is a plus
• Takes ownership and solves problems without waiting to be asked
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Valid UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
• Must be based at Tesla’s Manchester Central office
