New Car Sales Executive

We are looking for a New Car Sales Executive to join our team at Vertu Vauxhall Sunderland and are welcoming applications from retail, hospitality, or other customer‑facing backgrounds. You don’t need previous automotive experience — we’ll provide full training and a structured onboarding programme to give you everything you need to succeed and build a long‑term, high‑earning career in car sales.

This role offers a competitive basic salary of £27,000 with uncapped commission, delivering realistic on‑target earnings of £45,000, with top performers earning £60,000+. In addition to our competetive salary package, you'll also have the opportunity to earn additional rewards through the Stellantis Rewards programme, receiving incentives for every new vehicle you sell.

In addition to excellent earning potential, we pride ourselves on offering true work‑life balance. You’ll work a 40‑hour week (five 8‑hour shifts), be on duty for most Saturdays (our busiest sales day), and enjoy a guaranteed day off during the week. We are closed on Sundays, giving you a consistent day every week to relax and recharge.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and delivering a premium experience throughout the buying journey
• Understanding customer needs and matching them with the right vehicle and finance options
• Arranging and conducting test drives
• Building long‑term relationships that create loyal, repeat customers
• Working towards achievable targets with the support of an experienced management team
