Steer Automotive Group is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for an experienced Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join our Chesterfield team. If you have experience across Panel, Paint and MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) and take pride in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs, we’d love to hear from you.

Whether your background is as a Panel Beater, MET Technician, Paint Technician or Multiskilled Technician, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills within a successful and expanding accident repair business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out high-quality accident repairs across Panel, Paint and MET

Repairing vehicles safely and efficiently to manufacturer and industry standards

Using modern bodyshop equipment, repair methods and diagnostic tools

Identifying and resolving repair issues throughout the process

Working closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient bodyshop workflow

Completing repairs to a consistently high standard

Following all health, safety and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience within an accident repair centre, bodyshop or vehicle repair environment

Experience across multiple disciplines, including Panel, Paint and/or MET

Strong vehicle repair and technical knowledge

ATA accreditation would be advantageous, or a willingness to work towards relevant accreditation

Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

Ability to work effectively as part of a busy bodyshop team
