At Yeomans Nissan Aldershot we are currently looking for a MOT Tester to join our friendly and busy team. The successful candidate will have previous franchise dealer experience in a similar role and an MOT licence.
Within the centre, we utilise the latest diagnostic technology, tools and best practice processes so you can offer our customers the very best assistance with their service or repair. As part of your role you will be responsible for the MOT testing of the full range of Nissan vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
Carry out diagnostic investigative work to identify & rectify faults
Conduct full vehicle examinations to identify non-routine defects/faults
Carry out Electronic Vehicle Health Checks and Video Health Checks
Carry out vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs
Work closely with Service Advisors ensuring they are kept informed of the progress of any work and fully briefed on work completed
Ability to discuss technical issues directly with customers when required
Obtain appropriate authorisation before completing any work
Build and maintain a high level of technical competence for diagnosing and servicing vehicles and utilise regular training
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service through the quality of their work. Additionally, the successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills, provide a high level of customer service and have the ability to use their own initiative.
Professionalism, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills are essential qualities, as is a full driving licence. In return, we offer a great financial package and an excellent working environment.
