Salary
- £38,000 – £50,000 Basic Salary per year
- Plus overtime available at 1.5 x rate if wanted
- We don’t put targets on our staff, or have a performance bonus scheme – we believe in paying a very competitive fixed basic salary
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday – 8 hour daily shift
- With flexible working chosen between the hours of 7.30am to 5:30pm
- Only 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm (paid at time and a half)
Qualifications & experience needed
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- Vehicle Technician experience – ideally a minimum of 3 years
- Knowledge and experience of modern diagnostic equipment and systems
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
What you’ll be doing
- Carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles / vans
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and address issues
- Perform a mix of technical and customer facing duties, including discussing repairs with customers
- Repair or replace components as required
- Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s requirements
- Road test vehicles to test repair work
