Our Service Centre has recently been awarded Battery Care Centre (BCC) status for a range of passenger and commercial vehicles. As a result, we're looking for the next generation of High Voltage Technicians and High Voltage Experts to join our team.

What you’ll do day to day

• Train and develop as a High Voltage Expert (HVE)
• Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Provide expert technical guidance on Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technologies
• Become the workshop specialist for High Voltage and Electric Vehicle systems
• Support and mentor colleagues through knowledge sharing and technical expertise
• Ensure all work is completed in line with High Voltage safety procedures and policies
• Maintain excellent product knowledge across multiple Volkswagen Group brands
• Deliver exceptional customer service that encourages loyalty and repeat business
• Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping and administration
• Work collaboratively with workshop controllers, service advisors and technicians to ensure customer satisfaction

Helpful skills and qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience within the motor industry
• Experience in High Voltage Technologies, or a willingness to undertake specialist training
• VAG accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
• Ability to work across multiple Volkswagen Group brands
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capable of working effectively to deadlines and manufacturer standards
