GTG Training – Renault Trucks

Working Hours

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 and bonus opportunities Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, no weekend work required

GTG Training is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to become a Technical Trainer.

This is an excellent opportunity to move from the workshop into a rewarding training role, helping develop the next generation of technicians.

What you’ll be doing

  • Training apprentices and commercial delegates towards industry-recognised qualifications at GTG’s training centre.
  • Delivering practical and classroom-based training.
  • Assessing learner progress.
  • Maintaining training records.
  • Supporting apprentices throughout their development.

What we’re looking for from you

  • No teaching experience is required we’ll provide full training and support to gain a teaching qualification
  • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience
  • Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm
  • Full UK driving licence
