We're looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our team in Bootle, Liverpool. You'll play an important role in providing an excellent service to our customers, safely collecting and delivering vehicles while representing Steer Automotive Group to the highest standard.
If you're an experienced Driver, Vehicle Delivery Driver, Collection and Delivery Driver or have a background in customer-facing driving roles, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of customer vehicles across Liverpool, Bootle and the surrounding area.
You'll be one of the faces of Steer Automotive Group, so providing a friendly, professional and reliable service is essential.
Responsibilities
Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely, efficiently and professionally.
Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys.
Provide excellent customer service during vehicle collections and deliveries.
Assist with vehicle movements on site to support the smooth running of the bodyshop.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle collections and deliveries.
Ensure vehicles are handled with care at all times.
Represent Steer Automotive Group professionally when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Follow all company procedures and road safety requirements.
Requirements
A full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
You must be aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements.
Previous experience as a Driver, Delivery Driver, Collection and Delivery Driver or in a similar customer-facing role is desirable.
A professional and courteous manner.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliability, punctuality and excellent attention to detail.
A responsible approach to vehicle safety and care.
A commitment to acting with integrity and representing the business to the highest standard.
