Driver / Vehicle Collection & Delivery Driver – Sleaford

Full Time | Permanent | Automotive / Accident Repair

Steer Automotive Group is looking for a reliable and professional Driver / Vehicle Collection & Delivery Driver to join our accident repair team in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

You'll be joining one of the UK's leading accident repair groups, helping us provide an excellent service by safely collecting and delivering customer vehicles throughout the local area.

The Role

As a Vehicle Collection & Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for collecting vehicles from customers and delivering repaired vehicles back to them safely, efficiently and professionally.

You'll often be one of the first or last members of our team a customer meets, so providing a friendly and professional service is an important part of the role.

You'll also support the wider bodyshop team with vehicle movements and help keep vehicles moving efficiently through the repair process.

What You'll Be Doing

Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely and on time

Drive customer vehicles between agreed locations and our Sleaford accident repair centre

Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys

Provide friendly, professional customer service during collections and deliveries

Ensure customer vehicles are handled carefully and responsibly

Assist with moving vehicles around the bodyshop and site

Maintain accurate collection and delivery records

Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues regarding vehicle movements

Follow company procedures and road safety requirements at all times

Represent Steer Automotive Group professionally when dealing with customers

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

A full UK driving licence

A clean driving record

Age 21 or over due to insurance requirements

A safe and responsible approach to driving

Excellent customer service and communication skills

A professional and courteous manner

Reliability, punctuality and good attention to detail

The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team

Previous driving, vehicle collection and delivery, automotive or customer service experience is desirable
