Steer Automotive Group is looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Lincoln accident repair centre.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be an important part of the customer journey, providing a welcoming and professional service from the first point of contact through to vehicle collection. You’ll keep customers informed throughout their vehicle repair, coordinate with colleagues and insurers, and help ensure everything runs smoothly.
If you have experience in customer service, administration, automotive customer service or a bodyshop environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Welcoming customers in person and providing a professional first point of contact
Handling incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries
Managing repair bookings, vehicle handovers and collections
Keeping customers informed with regular updates throughout the repair process
Liaising with technicians, insurers and suppliers to ensure clear and timely communication
Responding to queries and resolving issues professionally
Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
Supporting the wider bodyshop team with day-to-day administration
Delivering an excellent customer experience throughout every stage of the repair journey
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a customer service, customer advisor, administration or similar role
Automotive, bodyshop, accident repair or dealership experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent attention to detail
A genuine passion for delivering great customer service
