Customer Service Advisor – Automotive Accident Repair

We’re looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our busy automotive accident repair centre in Swavesey, Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, administration, front of house or the automotive industry who enjoys working with people and delivering an excellent customer experience.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our customers, supporting them throughout their vehicle repair journey from initial booking through to collection.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers to our Swavesey accident repair centre and provide a friendly, professional service
Handle incoming telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries
Manage vehicle repair bookings, appointments, handovers and collections
Keep customers informed with regular updates throughout the repair process
Liaise with bodyshop technicians, estimators, insurers, suppliers and other internal teams to ensure repairs progress smoothly
Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
Complete general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the repair centre
Ensure every customer receives a positive experience from first contact through to vehicle collection
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Previous experience in a customer service, customer care, administration, receptionist or front-of-house role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once
Confidence dealing with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
Good IT and administrative skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
A calm and professional approach when working in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail
A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
Previous experience within an automotive dealership, bodyshop, accident repair centre, vehicle repair business or insurance environment would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential. We’re equally interested in candidates with strong transferable customer service skills.
