At Steer Automotive Group, we go beyond standard repairs — we set the benchmark for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a skilled and detail-focused Commercial Vehicle MET Technician to join our team and play a vital role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

What You’ll Be Doing
Undertake strip and re-fit work on a wide range of commercial vehicles, including both LCV and HGV vehicle types, along with truck and trailers, following accidents in a safe and economical manner
Complete repairs, servicing and inspections on commercial vehicles, accurately diagnosing faults whilst maintaining safe, professional and customer-focused standards
Ensure all work is completed in line with BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards
Working with the latest technology and equipment to ensure quality and compliance
Liaising with other technicians to support a smooth and efficient repair process
Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a Bodyshop or commercial vehicle repair environment
Ability to work on both LCV and HGV Vehicles across multiple makes and models
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Experience working to BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards
Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
ATA accreditation (or working towards it) is desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A professional who works with integrity, accountability, and pride in their craft
Experience with truck and trailer mechanical and maintenance work is desirable
