At Vertu Vauxhall Harrogate, we are looking for a Casual Driver to support our busy Aftersales team. This is a zero-hours contract, typically working 2-3 days per week, with shifts generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

We're offering a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour, along with the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Casual Driver, you'll be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring a professional, safe, and efficient service at all times.

Often acting as one of the first and last points of contact for our customers, you'll represent both Vertu Motors and Vauxhall Harrogate, delivering an excellent customer experience with every interaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting and delivering customer vehicles safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Conducting vehicle handovers and collections
• Ensuring vehicles are transported in line with company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of care and attention when handling customer vehicles
• Supporting the Aftersales team with additional driving duties as required
• Ensuring all relevant paperwork and vehicle records are completed accurately

Requirements

We're seeking a dependable and professional individual who enjoys meeting people and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A full UK driving licence
• A clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A professional and friendly approach
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude towards vehicle handling

Previous driving or customer-facing experience would be beneficial, but most importantly we're looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering a great customer experience.
