The Role

As our Bodyshop Manager, you will take full ownership of the site’s performance – leading the team to hit and exceed budget, delivering outstanding quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll combine commercial awareness with people-focused leadership, keeping your site fully staffed with engaged, motivated team members.

Responsibilities

Drive site performance to meet and exceed financial targets.

Lead, inspire, and develop the team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Manage recruitment and retention to ensure consistent staffing levels.

Oversee workflow, quality control, and operational efficiency.

Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, and suppliers.

Uphold and promote Steer Automotive Group’s values of excellence, innovation, and integrity.

About You

Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or in a similar automotive leadership role.

Experience in vehicle damage assessing, and producing accurate estimates.

Strong commercial and operational management skills.

Excellent people management abilities – from recruitment to ongoing development.

A track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality work.
