What to ExpectTesla is seeking a Benefits Operations Associate to join our Compensation & Benefits team in EMEA. This role sits at the heart of our employee experience - ensuring that Tesla's benefits programs are administered accurately, compliantly, and efficiently across all EMEA markets.

As a Benefits Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and oversight of a broad range of employee benefits - including Health Insurance, Pensions, Life & Disability, and supplementary programs - supporting employees across the full lifecycle from hire to retire. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, Legal, and IT to ensure regional compliance and seamless program delivery, while serving as a key point of contact for complex employee and manager enquiries.

You will also collaborate closely with the People Analytics team to identify data-driven opportunities for process improvement, leveraging insights to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and continuously elevate the employee benefits experience across EMEA.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-country environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional employee experience through operational excellence, data integrity, and continuous process improvement.

What You’ll DoEnd-to-End Regional Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operation of various Employee Benefits Programs across EMEA, including, but not limited to, Health Insurance, Pensions, Life & Disability, and all supplementary benefits ensuring an exceptional employee experience from hire to retire with efficient processes in place

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align closely with HR, Payroll, Legal, and IT to ensure regional tax, social security, and statutory deductions are executed accurately

Tier 2 Employee Support: Resolve complex, high-touch inquiries from employees and managers regarding benefits eligibility and coverage, while identifying ticket trends to proactively reduce inbound volume through self-serve options and process automation

Data Integration & Systems Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee data across HRIS platforms and external vendor portals, ensuring seamless system rollouts and data synchronization

Financial Oversight & Auditing: Manage the end-to-end benefits invoicing process and conduct regular, rigorous benefit audits to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and timely premium payments

Analytics Collaboration: Partner with the People Analytics team to surface data-driven insights, identify trends, and spot opportunities for process improvement that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across the benefits function

What You’ll BringExperience in HR operations, shared services, or total rewards administration, specifically with exposure to managing benefits across multiple EMEA countries

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of benefits processes, HRIS platforms and ticketing/case management systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, customer support, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to navigate complex, confidential situations

Regulatory & Legal Acumen: Understanding of local labor laws, statutory/private benefits structures, and tax implications within the EMEA region is a plus

Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver accurately in a fast-paced, multi-country environment

Language: Business fluency in English is required; fluency in an additional European language is an advantage
