Working in our aftersales department as an Assistant Service Manager you will be a key part of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone, providing an outstanding customer service to all customers.

What you’ll do day to day
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the Service Reception and customer-facing operation, ensuring customers receive a professional, welcoming, and exceptional service experience at all times.
- Support, lead, motivate, and develop the Service Advisor team, ensuring the department is appropriately resourced and operates efficiently.
- Monitor Service Advisor workloads, customer wait times, and vehicle progress updates to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Manage and support advisors with complex or escalated customer concerns, driving high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain strong communication between Service Reception and the workshop, ensuring work is progressed effectively and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Promote a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, recognising strong performance, and addressing underperformance where necessary.
- Provide visible leadership and hands-on operational support during busy periods, ensuring all Aftersales processes and manufacturer standards are followed.
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing departmental performance, resource planning, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
- Support accurate dealership reporting in line with Group reporting frameworks and business objectives.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs, customer satisfaction targets, and overall Aftersales profitability.

- Experience within the automotive industry is essential.
- Excellent organisation skills, with experience in high-level reporting.
