The Role
As our Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will support the Bodyshop Manager in leading and motivating the site’s performance – working with the team to hit and exceed budget, delivering outstanding quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Working with the Bodyshop Manager to drive site performance to meet and exceed financial targets.
Lead and inspire the team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Support the Bodyshop Manager with recruitment and retention to ensure consistent staffing levels.
Oversee workflow, quality control, and operational efficiency.
Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, and suppliers.
Uphold and promote Steer Automotive Group’s values of excellence, innovation, and integrity.
About You
Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or Assistant Bodyshop Manager or in a similar automotive leadership role.
Strong operational management skills.
Excellent people management abilities.
A track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality work.
