Apprentice Vehicle Technician - Honda Guildford

Yeomans Honda in Guildford are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. No previous experience needed, just a willingness to learn and a passion for the role!

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians, receiving hands-on training while completing a recognised apprenticeship programme. You will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.

Learn how to carry out routine inspections and safety checks.

Develop the skills to diagnose vehicle faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.

Complete servicing and repair work in line with manufacturer and company standards.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Build technical knowledge through practical experience and manufacturer training.

Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.

Requirements

Must be aged 16 or over.

Attend college and complete all apprenticeship coursework and assessments.

A genuine interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Grade 4 (or above) in both GCSE English and Maths is essential.

A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred.

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Reliable, punctual and eager to succeed.

Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
