The Role
Brindley Group are looking to recruit an Apprentice Parts Advisor to be based at our multi-franchise Wolverhampton site on Penn Road, Wolverhampton. As a Parts Advisor Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Kia & Chery parts department. You will learn to support both retail and workshop operations. You will ensure the efficient supply, control, and management of vehicle parts and accessories while delivering excellent customer service at every stage.
This is a fast-paced and varied role suited to an organised, detail-focused, and customer-oriented individual who thrives in a busy dealership environment and enjoys working as part of a team. The successful candidate will learn how to manage a busy parts department where accuracy, efficiency, and communication are essential to success. You will liaise closely with customers, suppliers, and workshop technicians to ensure parts are sourced, managed, and supplied effectively to support the smooth running of the dealership.
You will develop strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to delivering high operational standards. Daily responsibilities will include stock management, handling customer enquiries, supplying workshop technicians, and maintaining accurate records. A key part of the role will involve learning how to ensure customers and technicians receive the correct advice and parts support quickly and professionally. You will also help with service reception and our collect and delivery service from time to time.
Responsibilities
Receiving and unloading new stock deliveries safely
Sorting and storing vehicle parts and materials in the warehouse
Recording item numbers, names, and locations on the computer
Handling customer and mechanic enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Providing accurate quotations and advice to customers
Selling parts to garages, dealerships, and members of the public
Putting orders together and making deliveries
Raising invoices for stock that is sold
Monitoring low stock levels and ordering replacements in good time
Assisting on service reception and helping with vehicle collection
Ensuring the parts storage area remains organised, safe, and tidy
