What you’ll do day to day

As an Apprentice Bodyshop METTechnician, you'll learn how to:

• Assist with the repair and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on damaged vehicles
• Support qualified technicians in preparing vehicles for repair and reassembly
• Learn how to diagnose faults and identify repair requirements
• Follow manufacturer repair methods and health and safety standards
• Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Build your technical knowledge through practical experience and formal training
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Work closely with colleagues and contribute positively to the team

Helpful skills and qualifications

• A genuine interest in vehicle technology and repairs
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable
• A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
