About the Role
- You’ll maintain a high-quality sales ledger, posting receipts, daily banking and journals accurately.
- You’ll raise re-charge and ad-hoc invoices and prepare cheques for collection.
- You’ll conduct Experian credit checks for new customers and apply robust credit-control procedures.
- You’ll chase overdue invoices by phone and email, reducing debtor days while upholding excellent customer relationships.
- You’ll respond promptly to payment queries, ensuring compliance with Marshall accounting policies.
About You
- Someone ideally with 2+ years relevant experience in a large accounting or finance office (automotive retail sector experience is a plus)
- Someone detail-oriented who thrives in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment
- Someone with proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and ideally with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS, though not essential.
- Someone comfortable managing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Most importantly, someone who’s positive, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact as part of our team
